Black Label Society is an American music band that plays heavy metal, rock n roll, and loud pop western music. The band was formed in Los Angeles, California in 1998 by the famous American guitarist Zakk Wylde. To this date, the band has released ten studio albums, three video albums, two compiled albums, and one extended play.
The band has been one of the most popular bands in the American musical society and it all started with Wylde as he started performing under the name of Pride and Glory playing a mixture of bluesy Southern rock with heavy metal. The band’s second album Stronger Than Death came out in 2000 and DeServio was replaced by Steve Gibb. Later on, this was followed by another live album Alcohol Fueled Brewtality Live +5. In 2005 the band signed with Artemis Record and the album Mafia was released. In the year 2007 Black label Society parted ways with Roadrunner Records.
