A glove proves itself the first time your hands meet asphalt. So here's exactly what goes into our long-gauntlet race glove, no adjectives required which of the 11 gloves share this spec.
We don't claim a CE rating or race certification unless the product page lists it EN 13594 level per glove. If a spec matters to you, check the product page or ask us before you order.
"Will they be too tight?" Good question. Wrap a tape around your dominant hand across the knuckles, thumb excluded, and match the number on our glove size guide.
The fingers are pre-curved, so they feel stiff lying flat and right on the grips. Leather loosens a touch with wear, so buy snug, not tight. The long gauntlet goes over the sleeve of your motorcycle jacket so wind can't funnel in. Between sizes? We'll make a pair to your measurements through our made-to-measure service.
Not that we can document yet: our product specs list the armor, not a CE rating, so we don't claim one. Our long-gauntlet race glove has hard-shell polycarbonate knuckle armor, a double-reinforced padded palm and a thumb guard. If certification is a must for you, ask us before you order.
Leather, if abrasion resistance is your main concern. Genuine leather holds up to a slide better than most textiles and molds to your hand over time, which is why race gloves are built from it. Textile can run lighter and cooler in summer. Every glove here is 100% genuine leather; our leather guide explains the differences between hides.
Not as listed: our specs show vented finger panels and a moisture-wicking lining, which are built for airflow rather than rain. If you ride in the wet, condition the leather regularly and let soaked gloves dry slowly, away from direct heat.
